It’s been a crazy few weeks, doing everything but making art, since painting this commission of Eurambeen Homestead as a wedding gift for a lovely couple married in these very gardens, I appreciate the opportunity and had a great time expressing the colour and movement of this beautiful property

An extension of painting figures in the landscape, many of my artworks explore the symbolism of flowers and the idea of internal growth visible on the outside of the body, twisting through the hair and taking over the body, expressing emotions, values and attitudes and the potential for behavioural change.
Inspired by Klimt’s beautiful painting of a mother holding her child, this painting was commissioned as a Christmas gift from a husband to his wife.
